Further information:

Maltodextrin is made from maize starch by “grinding” the large starch molecules into smaller pieces. It is taste-neutral and is used in the foodstuffs industry as a thickening agent, a source of energy, and a fat substitute.

Maltodextrin is also an excellent carrier agent for sensitive substances, such as flavourings, spices, and vitamins. Because of this, it has a fixed place among RITTER SPORT’S ingredients.
